Domailo vs Zoho Mail
Quick answer: Zoho Mail has one of the lowest per-user prices among global providers, but the Mail Lite and Premium plans are annual only. Domailo charges per organization, with a monthly option. For teams that accept paying yearly and want IMAP and apps, Zoho is cheap; for those who want several mailboxes and domains with a fixed monthly price, Domailo is simpler.

How do you switch from Zoho Mail to Domailo?
- Create your organization on Domailo and add the domain (the domain registration stays where it is).
- Create the mailboxes with the same addresses you use today and link the people on the team.
- Replace the MX, SPF and DKIM records in the DNS with the ones shown in the Domailo dashboard; from then on, new messages arrive on Domailo.
- Keep the Zoho Mail account active for a few days to consult or export the history: Domailo does not import old messages.

Frequently asked questions
Is Zoho Mail cheaper than Domailo?
Per user, the annual Mail Lite costs less. Domailo charges one amount per organization; the difference depends on the team size and on how many mailboxes and domains you need. See the cost table for 2, 5 and 20 people on this page.
Does Domailo have a free plan?
Not for new signups. Domailo offers paid plans per organization with a 30-day trial; the card is added after domain ownership is proven and is charged only when the trial ends unless the subscription is canceled.
Can I have a shared mailbox on both?
Yes. On Zoho, on paid plans. On Domailo, on every plan: a mailbox can be linked to several people, each with their own login.
Is Zoho Mail’s free plan still worth it?
It can work if you only use the browser or Zoho’s own apps: the pricing page checked in October 2026 shows up to 5 users, 1 domain and 5 GB per user. It has no IMAP, POP or ActiveSync, so it does not work in Outlook or in a phone’s mail app, and it is only available in some data centers. Older tutorials mention up to 25 users on the free plan; the current limit is 5.
